About

The MP42H is NanoAvionics’ smallest and lightest microsatellite bus, designed for complex communications missions. It comes with a 15-inch ESPA-class separation ring for deployment in orbit. This pre-designed versatile system allows users to focus on high-value tasks such as payload integration and testing. It can accommodate payloads with a total mass of 25 kg and a maximum footprint of 410(L) x 392(W) x 330(H) mm. The payload height is flexible, provided the total satellite height does not exceed the launch vehicle’s available volume. Despite being only slightly larger and heavier than most higher-end nanosatellites, the MP42H provides significantly greater mission capabilities and redundancy opportunities due to extra avionics volume, better thermal management, and a larger payload interface, all for a marginal price increase. NanoAvionics offers three standard performance configurations for the MP42H: Light, Mid, and Max, to match various payload mission objectives and budgets. As with all NanoAvionics’ proven platforms, the MP42H is a highly modular system with configurable subsystems and operational protocols for faster setup. It also includes a sample mission code pre-installed to enable immediate testing upon delivery. The MP42H bus is well-suited for single-satellite missions or as a standardized platform for an entire constellation, optimized for remote sensing, high data throughput, complex communications missions, emergency communications, and fundamental research missions.
