About NanoAvionics

NanoAvionics is a Lithuanian-American nanosatellite bus and mission integrator founded in 2014, headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, with offices in the United Kingdom and the United States. The company designs and manufactures small satellite platforms from 1U to 16U CubeSat form factors and provides full mission integration services.

NanoAvionics is best known for its M6P satellite bus — a flight-proven 6U platform with integrated propulsion, ADCS, communications, and OBC in a compact form factor suitable for Earth observation, IoT connectivity, and technology demonstration missions. The company has also developed the 16U platform for higher-power and higher-mass missions.

The company provides full mission services including requirements definition, payload integration, test, launch brokerage, and on-orbit operations. NanoAvionics has delivered satellites for commercial constellation operators, government agencies, and research institutions across Europe, North America, and Asia.

In 2021, NanoAvionics was acquired by satellite communications company Kongsberg NanoAvionics (later expanded into a strategic partnership), reinforcing its position as a leading European nanosatellite manufacturer and enabling synergies with larger satellite programs.
