About

NanoAvionics SmallSat GaAs Solar Panels are high-performance deployable power solutions designed for the MP42 and MP42H microsatellite platforms. Built on triple-junction GaInP/GaInAs/Ge solar cells, they achieve up to 29.5% efficiency with a power generation capacity of 36.85 mW/cm² in LEO (AM0), assembled with NASA-qualified low-outgassing adhesives in a cleanroom environment. Aluminium honeycomb and carbon fiber structural elements keep mass low while providing rigidity and thermal stability across an operating range of -40 °C to +85 °C.

Available in single, double, and triple deployable configurations per wing:
• MP42H Platform single deployable: 45 W per wing
• MP42 Platform single deployable: 75 W per wing
• MP42H Platform double deployable: 90 W per wing
• MP42 Platform double deployable: 150 W per wing
• MP42 Platform triple deployable: 225 W per wing

An optional MP42 Deployable Panel Interface Board is available to simplify electrical integration.
