About
The Si Solar Panel with Coils (side) is a silicon (Si) photo-electric converter board providing power for CubeSat satellites. Like the GaAs version it includes a built-in planar electromagnetic coil usable by the satellite’s attitude/stabilization system, and is compatible with SPUTNIX and ISIS CubeSat structures. It features a super-diode protection circuit, robust mechanical design with a protective cover, and multiple panels can be combined to scale power and coil moment. A calibration report is supplied per item. First released in 2017 and flight-qualified in the SiriusSat-1 and SiriusSat-2 satellites launched 15 August 2018.
