About
The Si Solar Panel with Coils (side) is the electrical source of the satellite, using silicon photo-electric converters. It features a built-in planar electromagnetic coil that can be involved in the orientation and stabilization system of the spacecraft. The panel has a robust mechanical design with a protective cover and is compatible with SPUTNIX and ISIS CubeSat structures. It includes a super-diode protection circuit, and both power and coil functions can be scaled by combining several panels. Each item is delivered with a calibration report. The product was released in 2017, has a guaranteed service life of 1 year, and an estimated production/delivery time of 2 months. It is flight-qualified and has flown as part of the SiriusSat-1,2 satellites, launched on 15.08.18. The product cannot be adapted to customer requirements.
