About
Northrop Grumman’s Propellant Management Device (PMD) tanks are used in mono- and bi-propellant spacecraft systems to control fluid and separate pressurant gas from fuel or oxidizer, delivering gas-free propellant to thrusters throughout the spacecraft’s life. Built entirely of titanium for propellant compatibility, PMD tanks are offered in numerous mission-specific designs, with more than 1,200 assemblies delivered for crewed and uncrewed missions in low Earth orbit, geosynchronous orbit, and deep space.
