The SM08 is an 8U CubeSat structure, a key component for small satellite development. It boasts several main features including support for up to 8 deployment switches and configurable board stacks, allowing for both horizontal and vertical stack assembly. The structure measures 454.0 x 226.3 x 100.0 mm without kill switches. A significant design aspect is the independence of the PCB stack assembly from the main structure, offering flexibility in integration. It is compatible with SPM Solar Panels and also supports solar panels from multiple other vendors. The SM08 ensures structural integrity through helicoil inserts and offers PC104 and PC104 PLUS compatibility. The product includes a standard structure, assembly screws, and four 2U stack assembly standard sets. Optional components such as 1U and 2U intermediate rings are available, along with up to four stand-off kill switches and up to four rail switches.
