About
The AQUILA sun sensor line from NewSpace Systems delivers reliable, accurate sun-angle measurements for spacecraft attitude determination and control in high-reliability space applications. The sensors support both primary and safe-mode attitude sensing with over 1,000 units delivered and 5+ years of in-orbit heritage in LEO. The digital architecture is albedo-immune with embedded calibration eliminating need for external compensation. Four sensors achieve full-sky coverage. The line is baselined on multiple satellite constellations and is available in two models: AQUILA-A05 and AQUILA-H02.
