About
Optisys horn arrays are a high-TRL, production-proven antenna solution designed for scalability across frequency and gain. Multiple Optisys horn array designs are currently on orbit, supporting a range of missions, orbits, and operational environments. Leveraging additive manufacturing, Optisys produces highly efficient horn and waveguide geometries in extremely compact volumes, achieving significant mass and volume savings compared to traditionally machined or assembled horn arrays. Multiple RF and mechanical components — waveguide transitions, mounting features, and interfaces that would traditionally require multiple parts and fasteners — are integrated directly into a single monolithic horn array structure. The result is a repeatable antenna architecture with consistent performance across builds. Horn arrays are one of Optisys’s most proliferated technologies, with a growing flight heritage across commercial, government, and defense space programs.
