About
The Optoelectronic System of Detection and Measurement of Space Debris Motion (OES DSD) is a ground-based system developed for autonomous search and detection of objects at altitudes ranging from 120 to 40,000 km. It is intended for operation within the composition of ground-based means of the automated warning system for dangerous approaches in near-Earth space. The system incorporates three types of telescopes, each designed for specific purposes, enabling it to detect space objects and space debris elements with a brightness of up to the 18th stellar magnitude by reflected sunlight. The manufacturer claims that the OES DSD has no analogues in the world. It was released in 2015 and has a guaranteed service life of 5 years (or 5,000 hours). The estimated production and delivery time is 24 months.
