About

Nereus 20 B is the bipropellant member of Pangea Aerospace’s Nereus in-space propulsion family, providing 20 N of thrust with higher specific impulse than the monopropellant variant, aimed at missions requiring rapid maneuvers, longer operating times and superior payload optimization. It uses a H2O2/Jet A propellant combination as a sustainable, storable alternative to toxic hypergolic bipropellants, offering a cost-effective, mission-ready propulsion solution. Notably, Nereus 20 B can also operate in monopropellant mode, combining efficiency and precise control within a single thruster unit. Like the rest of the Nereus family, it is built using LPBF-qualified additive manufacturing for ultra-precise thruster components and is designed as a modular system, scalable across small satellites, orbital transfer vehicles (OTVs) and landers. Target applications include orbital transfer vehicles and space tugs, landing modules, and satellite maneuvering. The thruster is REACH compliant and ITAR-free, and can be supplied standalone or as a complete propulsion system with tanks, feed system and avionics. Nereus 20 B currently serves private-client missions within Pangea’s in-space mobility portfolio.
