The Pressure Sensor Frequency Vt 1201 is engineered for the precise measurement of excess static pressure and pressure that builds up with a gradient of up to 1000 MPa/s. It can handle pressure pulsations in the frequency range of 0-500 Hz, with an amplitude not exceeding 0.05 pH when measuring pressures from 0.5 to 60 MPa, and not more than 4 MPa when measuring pressures from 90 to 180 MPa. This sensor is suitable for use with both liquid and gaseous aggressive and non-aggressive media. It can operate autonomously or in conjunction with a LH 5564 or Vt 7613 converter. A key application for this product is within the telemetry systems of rocket and space technology. The sensor boasts high precision and noise immunity, and is manufactured according to “Regulation 98”. It is available in a version where a string converter (SC) and amplifier (A) are connected by an integral cable jumper of 0.5 m length. The cable jumper sheath can be TKR tube or steel 12X18H10T, depending on the customer’s order. The explosion protection type is “Tight sheath”, with the cable jumper being “Intact cable network” or “Tight sheath” also depending on the order. The product is flight qualified and can be adapted to customer requirements.
