About
The Propulsion System for the Nanosatellite Platform is an electrothermal propulsion unit designed for orbital maneuvering of CubeSat-class spacecraft. It provides up to 25–30 m/s of characteristic velocity for a nanosatellite of up to 5 kg, with thrust of 3–10 mN from an electrothermal engine. Total system mass is 1.3 kg with a propellant mass of up to 0.2 kg. Power consumption ranges from 3–5 W idle to 12 W maximum. Supply voltage is 5–12 V. Released in 2016 with a 3-year service life and 12-month delivery time. Adaptable to customer requirements.
