The ASTROFEIN PicoSatellite Launcher (PSL) series, including the PSL1U, PSL2U, and PSL3U models, are designed for deploying 1U, 2U, and 3U CubeSats, respectively, and can also accommodate combinations of these sizes. These deployers incorporate a flight-proven non-explosive lock and release mechanism, ensuring reliable satellite deployment. Key features include redundancy in actuation and deployment confirmation signals, and a patented fixation system that secures the CubeSat in X, Y, and Z axes during launch. The design provides a closed envelope for high safety and ensures defined deployment energy with a low spin rate for the CubeSat. Deployment is initiated only when the door is completely opened and locked, a patented safety feature. The deployers offer large clearance for CubeSat attachments and include access ports for maintenance at the launch site. They are qualified for a variety of launch providers and are not subject to export restrictions.
