PSL1U / PSL2U / PSL3U Picosatellite Launcher

The ASTROFEIN PicoSatellite Launcher (PSL) 1U/2U/3U family is a flight-proven deployer for CubeSats and their combinations, using a non-explosive lock and release mechanism with redundant actuation and deployment confirmation signaling. The deployer patents a fixation system that constrains the CubeSat in X, Y, and Z axes during launch, and features a closed envelope design for high safety, defined deployment energy, and low spin rate at ejection. Deployment is only initiated once the door is completely opened and locked — a patented safety feature. The design offers large clearance for CubeSat-mounted attachments, access ports for maintenance at the launch site, no export restrictions, and qualification across a variety of launch providers.
