About

The ASTROFEIN GPS receiver unit- ARGO (ARGO-L1) is a robust navigation solution specifically optimized for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) missions. It features configurable redundancy with a dual receiver assembly and enhanced solution availability via a dual independent passive receive antenna system that passively combines RF signals. The unit is equipped with inrush current limitation and voltage/current monitoring, alongside FDIR (Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery) capability for timely reaction to system failures. Its navigation firmware and tracking channels are optimized for LEO, and it includes a receiver warm startup mode to enable rapid time to first positioning fix. ARGO-L1 consists of a receiver unit box, accompanying LNAs (Low Noise Amplifiers), and antennas. The receiver unit box can be supplied in two possible mounting configurations. The system is designed for a 7-year lifetime in LEO and has a total ionization dose tolerance of >20 kradc.
