PPM A2 is a pluggable processor module (PPM) for use with the CubeSat-compatible Motherboard Module (MBM), and is designated as flight hardware (blue). By adding a PPM A2 to an MBM, a user creates a CubeSat-compatible command-and-data-handling (C&DH) module built around Texas Instruments’ 16-bit MSP430 low-power microcontroller family. PPM A2 carries an MSP430F1611 with 48KB of internal Flash memory and 10KB of internal RAM, running at 7.3728MHz.
