The LoFF (Low-shock Frangible Fastener) is Redwire’s low-shock separation system for separating spacecraft from launch vehicles or interstage adapters. It delivers a reliable, fully redundant separation event with significantly reduced shock levels compared to traditional bolt-cutter or pyrotechnic separation systems, protecting sensitive payloads from shock-induced damage. Scalable for a wide range of payload masses and structural configurations, LoFF is part of Redwire’s Payload Adapters product family.
