About
The Reflector as a Component of the Ku-band Multiple-beam Antenna is a flight-qualified reflector assembly for multiple-beam spacecraft antenna systems. It comprises 3 reflectors assembled on a boom, each with 1300 mm aperture diameter and ≤0.3 mm rms surface deviation (with utilization factors). Reflecting surfaces use metal-radio reflective coating for increased reflectivity. Boom overall dimensions are 2900 × 2030 mm, total reflector assembly mass is 35 kg. Released in 2012 with 15-year service life and 12-month delivery time. In unconditional flight operation since spacecraft launch.
