About

Twinspector is a satellite constellation designed and manufactured by Reflex Aerospace for LiveEO, delivering high-resolution, three-dimensional Earth observation data via stereo imaging to support independent, sovereign monitoring of critical infrastructure across energy, transport, environmental and security-relevant sectors in Europe. Reflex was selected to build this pair of next-generation satellites, engineered and produced with a German value chain. Each satellite carries a camera larger than 1,000 CubeSats in scale, along with powerful onboard GPUs that run AI directly in orbit for ultra-fast data processing; Reflex states the system will be capable of measuring the height of 1.1 million trees to approximately one meter of accuracy in under one second, supporting infrastructure, environmental and risk analysis at large scale. Each satellite has a total mass of approximately 350 kg and operates in a 500 km Sun-synchronous orbit (LTAN 22:30) for a planned 5-year mission duration. Communications include S-band TMTC (1 Mbit/s downlink, 448 kbit/s uplink) and X-band payload downlink at over 400 Mbit/s, with 715 W of nominal solar array power generation and 870 Wh of usable battery capacity. Twinspector’s launch date has not yet been announced.
