About
OmniFlex is Reflex Aerospace’s baseline satellite platform and the foundation for all of the company’s custom spacecraft. It is a payload-agnostic bus for single- or multi-payload LEO missions from 75 to 500 kg, designed to be tailor-made for each customer while keeping delivery timelines short (target: contract signature to end-to-end satellite solution in around 12 months). The platform family includes several purpose-tuned configurations built on the same baseline: OmniFlex HiPr (High Precision, extended design lifetime to 7+ years, upgraded power into the kW range, tailored thrust/delta-v, optical or high-throughput X/Ka/Ku-band data links for demanding payloads such as SAR, LiDAR or laser communications), OmniFlex UltraSharp (high-resolution Earth observation configuration for 2D and stereo imaging, infrastructure monitoring, change detection and border surveillance), OmniFlex DataSphere (customizable multipurpose constellation configuration combining optical and AIS/IoT payload data fusion for maritime, agriculture and ISR use cases) and OmniFlex TSAR (high-performance SAR configuration for 24/7 all-weather Earth observation). Avionics are built around the Reflex ARC (Autonomous Reconfigurable Computer), a multi-core ARM-based onboard computer. Standard communications are S-band TMTC with customizable X, Ka, Ku-band and optical comms options. The platform supports agile 3-axis stabilization, payload mass up to 250 kg, power from hundreds of watts to several kilowatts, and a baseline design lifetime of 3+ years. Manufacturing is vertically integrated through Reflex’s Munich MicroFactory (ISO 7 clean room, cell-manufacturing concept) enabling mass customization at scale, including sovereign/deployable assembly for customers with local-build requirements. All components are ITAR-free.
