Aerospace Fabrication’s spacecraft components feature our MLI blanket and associated passive thermal control systems. We offer a variety of spacecraft parts, including MLI Blankets, MMOD Shields, Radiators, Sun Shields, and High Temperature Plume Shields. MLI blankets provide passive thermal control to spacecraft, launch vehicles, and instruments in vacuum, minimizing heat transfer in extreme temperature changes. MMOD Shields are specialized hybrid blankets designed to protect vulnerable surfaces from high-velocity particles in space. Our team is experienced in the application and installation of specialty coated tapes for use as First Optical Solar Reflectors (FOSR) and similar radiator technologies. We also offer custom sun shields made from specialty coated thin films, providing frequency selective transparency. Additionally, we create specialized high temperature MLI blankets and plume shields for use around spacecraft and rocket engine nozzles or other extreme high temperature sources.
