About
The Spectrometric Photomultiplier Tube 1-1 (related to the PMT-143-1 family) is a detection component intended for the research of fast processes, such as in spectrometric and scientific instrumentation. It uses an SbKCs photocathode with a diameter of 40 mm, housed in a device 52 mm in diameter, and provides a spectral response range of 300 to 650 nm with a photocathode luminous sensitivity of ≥40 μA/lm. The tube achieves a fast pulse rise time of ≤3 ns, suited for capturing rapid transient signals. It requires a supply voltage of ≤2000 V to reach an anode luminous sensitivity of 100 A/lm, and ≤2450 V to reach 1000 A/lm. A related design, the PMT-143-1, is noted as having a bialkali photocathode, a flat-concave input window made of boron-silicate glass, an electron electrostatic focusing system, and a linear 12-dynode multiplication system. The product was released in 2015, has a guaranteed service life of 4 years, and an estimated production/delivery time of 3 months. It is not flight-qualified but can be adapted to customer requirements.
