The Splitter 3-3/MLS is a passive high-frequency device used to distribute RF signals within radio transmitters of flight communication equipment on spacecraft. Released in 2016, it operates across three Ka-band sub-bands (25270–25410 MHz, 25910–26050 MHz and 26550–26690 MHz) at a nominal input power of 15 mW. The splitter delivers low insertion loss, not exceeding 0.6 dB between any output and the input, and maintains a low input/output VSWR of no more than 1.33 across its operating bands, ensuring efficient, low-loss signal division for multi-channel communications payloads. Glavkosmos guarantees a 15-year service life for the device, with a typical production and delivery lead time of 4 months, making it suitable for long-duration geostationary and other communications satellite missions requiring reliable passive RF signal distribution.
