Teledyne Defence & Space designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of high performance bandpass filters covering frequencies from 10 MHz to 40 GHz, spanning all bands from L to Ka. The product range encompasses lumped element filters, machine combline cavity designs, suspended substrate stripline, tunable filters, combline, and multiplexer configurations, all produced to customer specifications with emphasis on low insertion loss and high selectivity. These filters are used in satellite transponder payloads, electronic warfare receivers, radar systems, and communications equipment. Teledyne has manufactured over 5,000 filters and diplexers for a single large satellite program, demonstrating high-volume space production capability. The filter range includes bandpass, bandstop, diplexer, and multiplexer configurations with custom passband frequencies, rejection requirements and power handling tailored per mission. All filter design is UK-based using ITAR-free processes.
