TerraBox
Deployable mini-factory for local, automated solar panel manufacturing.
About
TerraBox is Maana Electric’s deployable mini-factory that automates the complete manufacturing process for solar photovoltaic panels, enabling local production almost anywhere with minimal infrastructure. The system can produce a new solar panel roughly every 6 minutes, reaching an annual capacity of up to 35 MW, and can be fully operational within 5 days of installation. Operation requires no specialized engineering skills, with a single training day sufficient to run the fully automated processes, and the system is backed by 24/7 remote assistance with continuous software optimization and automated consumable monitoring and reordering. TerraBox is offered as an all-in-one leasing solution requiring no upfront capital expenditure. The panels it produces are frameless, glass-on-glass bifacial units with integrated diodes and innovative connections, are 100% recyclable, cost roughly one-fifth of conventional panels, and are manufactured with zero CO2 emissions.
