About

The MT-B is a bipropellant liquid rocket engine featuring a single, regeneratively cooled thrust chamber. It operates with a forced-feed, open-cycle system utilizing a gas generator. This engine was specifically developed as the propulsion system for the second stage of the Tronador TII-250 launch vehicle. The thrust chamber’s manufacturing process combined additive technology with electroforming. VENG has extensive experience in developing liquid propellants for launch vehicle prototypes, including Hydrazine/Nitric Acid and LOx/Kerosene engines, with key milestones in design, manufacturing, testing, and integration for prototypes like TI, T4000, VEx 1A, Vex1B, and VEx5A. The company leads as the main contractor for the design of the Tronador II series launch vehicle propellants, covering the entire propulsion value cycle from requirements definition to design, simulation, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and integration into the final vehicle. This expertise allows VENG to adapt to various propulsion solutions for launch vehicles, satellites, and spacecraft.
