The VLSI Direct Conversion Wideband Quadrature Demodulator is a silicon-germanium BiCMOS very-large-scale integrated (VLSI) microcircuit designed for construction of radio transceivers. It is intended for use in radio paths of military and special equipment. The device provides direct-conversion quadrature demodulation over a wide input frequency range and offers several functional features: the possibility of unipolar (single-supply) inclusion of a local oscillator, switchable conversion factors, and reduced power consumption compared to analogous devices. It is housed in a metal-and-ceramic case (type 5102.32-1К) with dimensions of 5x5x1 mm and a weight of 2 g, operates from a 5±0.12 V supply drawing 0.15 A, and functions across an operating temperature range of -60 to +85°C. The part was released in 2014, has a guaranteed service life of 3 years, and an estimated production/delivery time of 10 months.
