About
The NEM-ETH is a fully NSA certified Ethernet Encryptor rated for Top Secret and Below (TSAB) traffic, intended for use in satellite communication systems. It operates as an in-line encryptor supporting data rates up to 640Mbps in full duplex mode, and includes an integrated BLACK Power Filter to protect the encrypted (BLACK) side of the link. The unit provides a BLACK side control interface capable of managing up to 4 devices. It supports OTAR (Over The Air Rekey) for remote cryptographic key updates without physical access to the unit. The NEM-ETH is designed for a range of orbital and mission applications including LEO, GTO, and Cislunar/Lunar operations. It implements the GRYPHON crypto mode and offers NCS (Network Constellation of Small Satellites) crosslink capability, enabling secure encrypted crosslinks between satellites in a constellation architecture.
