Weather Lock

Weather Lock is WeatherStream’s next-generation numerical weather prediction solution, developed in collaboration with the US Air Force. This system dramatically reduces the time and cost of performing precision numerical weather forecasting, providing rapid updates to changing conditions as GEMS satellites observe and retrieve weather data. It is designed to drastically improve the traditional weather data assimilation process to keep up with the rapid update times provided by WeatherStream’s planned constellation of satellites. Weather Lock offers unprecedented tracking of storm development in near-real time, precise and continuous tracking of precipitation type and intensity, and is built from the ground up by weather and climate experts. The system is fully customizable to specific needs and requirements, with updates driven by both public and WeatherStream’s proprietary satellite data.
