The Weather Record™ system by Weather Stream offers rapid weather data processing and distribution in real-time, providing over-the-horizon weather insights on demand. It quickly and efficiently collects and analyzes global weather observations from shared global data sources, with plans to rapidly expand using Weather Stream’s satellite constellation equipped with passive microwave sounders. The system can target any region of the world to meet specific requirements, delivering alerts of extreme rainfall and severe weather directly from satellite observations. The aim is to provide early warnings of developing weather risks using low-latency satellite observations. Weather Stream is currently offering early access to subscription services over specific areas of interest, providing up-to-date data acquired by satellite over globally inaccessible and underserved regions lacking ground-based solutions. Data delivery can be tailored to fit customer needs, available in NetCDF or GeoTiff file formats, direct to the cloud for instant, data-driven weather insights. The geographic area of interest is customizable to any location on the planet, and the delivery cycle can be as often as every half hour.
