About
The WiRan X-Band Diplexer (DXA) is a passive RF component that provides full-duplex communication for high-rate data transmission and swarm-dedicated radiocommunication in the X band aboard small satellites. It is designed to operate across the 7145-8500 MHz band, covering a large part of the Earth Observation frequency allocation, allowing simultaneous transmit and receive paths to share a single antenna without interference. The diplexer is compliant with the CubeSat nanosatellite standard and was designed under the supervision of the European Space Agency. It offers high power handling levels suitable for satellite transmitters, and its low height and volume are intended to save precious space inside a satellite structure. The unit is fully compatible with WiRan’s currently developed X-Band antenna, allowing integration into a complete X-band communication chain. Isolation performance is comparable with waveguide components, exceeding 80 dB. STEP files and S-parameter data are available on request, and the product is currently open for preordering inquiries.
