About

HDRT-X is a product designed by SPUTNIX LLC to organize a high-speed radio channel between a spacecraft and ground stations. HDRT-X receives target information via a dedicated interface, transforms it into a modulated microwave signal, amplifies it, and radiates it in the direction specified by external commands. HDRT-X is an adaptive data transmission system: it can change the data transfer rate (modulation type, code speed, frame size) within wide limits depending on the actual distance to the spacecraft, weather conditions, the type of ground terminal used (antenna gain), and the current state of the space-segment data transmission equipment (failure management). The system consists of an X-band transmitter implemented on the basis of an active phased array antenna.
