About
This palm-sized X/S-band satellite radio, designed for LEO orbits, demonstrates data transmission at 650 Mbps within a 120MHz bandwidth. It operates with X-band transmission (8-8.4GHz) and S-band reception (2.0-2.1GHz), consuming less than 25W DC power. The radio implements DVB-S2X modulation for transmission and achieved 650 Mbps using 128 APSK modulation. It leverages Gallium Nitride (GaN)-on-Diamond semiconductor material.
