PIESAT Information Technology Co., Ltd. (stock code: 688066) is a leading Chinese satellite Internet company, established in 2008 and headquartered in Beijing. It was one of the first companies listed on China's Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR Market). The company has grown to more than 160 branches across China, with over 3,500 employees, 800+ software copyrights and 150+ patents.

PIESAT operates the world's first multi-baseline distributed InSAR satellite constellation, comprising one primary and three auxiliary X-band SAR satellites flying in synchronized elliptical orbit. The system delivers all-day, all-weather, high-resolution wide-swath SAR imaging, with resolution down to 0.5 m in spotlight mode and multi-satellite stitched coverage up to 80 km, plus millimeter-level (3-5 mm/year) surface deformation monitoring across global latitudes between 82.5° north and south.

On the software side, PIESAT independently developed the PIE (Pixel Information Expert) suite, including the PIE-Engine remote sensing cloud platform - the first commercially operable remote sensing cloud service in China, with more than 80,000 registered users - alongside desktop and specialized tools such as PIE-Basic, PIE-Ortho, PIE-Hyp, PIE-SAR, PIE-UAV, PIE-SIAS, PIE-AI, PIE-Map and the PIE-SDK developer toolkit. The company's overall business model is built around a space-ground integrated perception network of satellites, drones and ground sensors used to build digital-twin representations of the physical world, serving agriculture, forestry, disaster reduction, meteorology, land and resource management, and maritime applications.
