About

PIESAT-01 is the world’s first multi-baseline distributed InSAR satellite system, comprising one primary X-band SAR satellite and three auxiliary satellites flying in a synchronized elliptical (cartwheel) formation. The constellation delivers all-day, all-weather, high-resolution wide-swath SAR imaging on a global scale and supports applications including environmental protection, terrain surveying, earthquake resistance and disaster mitigation, weather early warning, fire and flood prevention, and resource discovery.
