About

The 1U Battery Board is a reliable power solution tailored for CubeSat missions. Designed to safely store and supply energy to the entire system, it integrates protection, current monitoring, and an efficient form factor for seamless tray mounting and wiring. It works in sync with the avionics board for coordinated charging and telemetry. Key benefits include compact energy storage optimized for 1U–3U missions, compatibility with solar charging and USB input, smart current monitoring and telemetry feedback, integrated safety features for space-grade reliability, and tray-mounted design for efficient CubeSat internal layout. It interfaces directly with the avionics board via FFC. The board supports regulated power delivery to avionics and payloads while offering real-time current monitoring, protection circuitry, and thermal stability—all in a form factor optimized for CubeSat integration. It is electrical compliance tested for CubeSat power systems and bench-tested with PyCubed Plus avionics for system integration. It is built to meet NASA GEVS standards for shock and vibration (via complete satellite testing).
