Command Encoders (ECTE Series)

The ECTE Command Encoder series generates the tone-coded command sequences used to command range vehicles, targets and test articles. The line spans airborne-packaged units such as the ECTE-26 Series (up to 20 tones) intended for onboard re-transmission or relay applications, compact 3-inch rack-mount ground encoders such as the ECTE-3R08 Series (up to 8 tones), and larger rack-mount ECTE-5R Series units (up to 20 tones) for ground command/control stations. Command Encoders pair with Emhiser’s Command Decoders and Command Receivers to form complete tone-command uplink systems used in range safety, flight termination, and remote command applications across military and aerospace test programs.
