ODALISS PDCU

The ODALISS PDCU (Power Distribution and Control Unit) is a highly efficient electrical power unit designed for seamless integration into the ODALISS avionics architecture. The PDCU manages power generation, storage, and distribution across the spacecraft, providing both regulated and unregulated bus outputs to the ODALISS subsystems and hosted payloads.

It handles solar array power input, battery charge management, and load switching for the satellite’s subsystems. The PDCU’s high efficiency minimises thermal losses and maximises power available to the payload — critical for data-intensive missions where high-power instruments must operate within tight power budgets. Like other ODALISS subsystems, it interfaces with the system bus for telemetry and configuration.
