Eomarine is GMV’s comprehensive catalogue of geo-information products specifically designed for marine and maritime monitoring, leveraging advanced satellite Earth Observation data. This suite of services includes critical functionalities such as marine-litter detection, fraction estimation, and categorization, as well as precise oil-spill detection and segmentation. Furthermore, Eomarine provides robust ship detection, segmentation, and categorization capabilities. The product is meticulously aligned with the Maritime Space Planning (MSP) and actively supports the implementation of key international agreements, including the Paris Agreement, the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, and the SDG 14 for the sustainable use of oceans, alongside pledges from UNFCCC climate summits. With 15 years of experience in providing Earth Observation marine and maritime services, Eomarine is utilized in over 20 countries worldwide, offering 10 distinct Earth Observation products aimed at strengthening the sustainable exploitation of marine and maritime resources.
