FAST 3U CubeSat Platform

The FAST 3U CubeSat Platform scales the proven FAST bus architecture to the 3U form factor (10 × 10 × 30 cm), the most widely adopted form factor in the global CubeSat community. The 3U provides sufficient volume and power budget for a broad range of missions — from Earth observation cameras and scientific instruments to IoT communication payloads and radio technology demonstrators — while fitting within the standard deployer envelope accepted by most launch providers.

Cervos designed the FAST 3U with mission flexibility at its core. The modular bus allows customers to specify communication bands (UHF/VHF, S-band, X-band, or higher), power levels, and attitude control modes without requiring fundamental redesign. All integration is carried out at Cervos’s Ankara facilities with full environmental testing — thermal vacuum, vibration, EMC — available as part of the service package.

For customers new to the CubeSat market, the FAST 3U provides an accessible entry point with Cervos’s full R&D and technical support. For experienced operators, the platform can be delivered in a more bare-bones configuration for in-house payload integration.
