Flyplan is GMV’s operations coordinator software, designed to manage activities across the entire ground segment. It ensures the consistency and integrity of operations for satellite fleets. With its current design, the Fleet product family, which Flyplan is a part of, is capable of simultaneously managing over seven hundred satellites in orbit. Key features include the ability to execute the master ground segment plan across various ground segment components, including GMV’s Hifly, Magnet, Focussuite, and Smartrings products. It supports unattended (lights out) operations while maintaining supervisor control (pause/continue, abort, manual control). Flyplan also manages task dependencies and data exchange between tasks, and detects resource and time exclusion conflicts. It is highly interoperable, offering an SDK for monitoring and controlling third-party components and an API for external components to add activities.
