About
The GDP Model 2267C Correlating/Diversity Combining Best Source Selector accepts up to 16 input data streams, each from digital data and clock or optional Ethernet output packets. Each channel is independently assigned to one of up to six Best Source output processing groups. By correlating data streams from multiple antennas in time to each other and using bit-by-bit signal quality information, the 2267C achieves over 5 dB of performance gain versus a single receive path and switches sources on as little as a bit time without dropping lock in downstream frame synchronizers — addressing multipath and fade issues common on aircraft, missile, and launch-vehicle test ranges. Works with encrypted or clear data and supports direct Ethernet TMoIP I/O as well as analog or digital I/O.
