The GDP Space Systems Model 2365A Multi-Channel PCM Bit Synchronizer houses up to 8 independent bit synchronizer channels in a single 4U rackmount chassis, designed for telemetry ground stations and flight test ranges that need to recover clock and data from multiple simultaneous downlinks. Control and monitoring of all channel parameters and features is handled through a local control interface using a PC, mouse, and keyboard, with an optional touch-screen for direct front-panel operation. As part of GDP’s bit synchronizer family, the 2365A shares the same high-fidelity clock/data recovery architecture used across the product line, maintaining lock at low signal levels and low Eb/No to minimize downstream frame sync dropouts during signal fade and multipath.
