About
The Glazing of Spacecraft is a heat-resistant high-strength radiation-optically-resistant glass of optical quality for cockpit glazing with a double-chamber structure. The primary glass withstands the difference between air pressure in the cockpit and space vacuum. Key specs: surface compression stress ≥150 MPa, operating temperature 700 K, double refraction ≤40 nm/cm. Released in 1979 with ≥15 year guaranteed service life and 2–3 month delivery time. Flight heritage: Buran spacecraft. Adaptable to customer requirements.
