About
The TRITON_4500 is Interorbital Systems medium-lift orbital launch vehicle, scaling the NEPTUNE platform to significantly larger payloads via clustered Common Propulsion Modules. It uses WFNA and turpentine propellants with ablatively-cooled filament-wound composite engines, all storable and pressure-fed for simple ground operations.
The TRITON_4500 delivers up to 4,500 kg to a 500-km polar circular orbit and can accommodate larger payloads to near-equatorial orbits. It launches from both land and ocean platforms. At $12 million per dedicated launch ($2,667/kg), it targets medium small satellite constellation and government missions. A TRITON HEAVY cluster variant is also in development.
