About
The IOM-300 XMC I/O Interface Board is a versatile I/O solution that expands embedded streaming capabilities. This highly configurable and fast EnsembleSeries™ IOM-300 XMC I/O mezzanine features software-defined sFPDP, 10Gb/s Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and PCIe gen 3 interfaces. It is primarily driven by an Altera® Stratix® V FPGA device, ensuring low-latency operation. A second FPGA supports the module with its own PCIe interface to the carrier, enabling the IOM-300 to receive mission updates and upgrade its configuration in real-time. The board offers front panel, 12-channel fiber I/O or 8-channel copper I/O ports and adheres to an Open Systems Architecture (OSA) XMC form factor. It is available in both air and conduction cooled variants, making it suitable for deployment in harsh environments. By combining with OpenVPX multiprocessing and SBC modules, along with a complementary portfolio of storage, I/O, networking, GPUs, and software, Mercury Systems creates customizable, rugged embedded subsystems that securely operate at the tactical edge.
