About
The KSPA-U is Kairo Space’s UHF/VHF patch antenna for CubeSat telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) links to ground stations in the amateur and commercial UHF/VHF bands. The flat patch form factor enables body-mounted integration on CubeSat faces without protruding deployable antenna mechanisms, simplifying integration and avoiding deployment failure risk during the critical post-launch commissioning phase.
The antenna is designed for use with CubeSat communication subsystems operating in the UHF 435–438 MHz and VHF 144–146 MHz amateur satellite bands, as well as commercial UHF bands used for IoT and nanosatellite telemetry. It operates in conjunction with ground stations in Kairo Space’s network and customer-operated ground infrastructure.
