About
The KSST-01 is Kairo Space’s miniaturized star tracker for CubeSat and small satellite attitude determination. It provides high-accuracy 3-axis attitude solutions by matching detected star patterns against an on-board star catalog, offering significantly better pointing knowledge than magnetometer or sun sensor-only ADCS configurations.
The KSST-01 is suited for earth observation missions requiring fine attitude knowledge for payload pointing, as well as for spacecraft that require precise orbital maneuver attitude references. It outputs quaternion attitude solutions at the satellite’s OBC interface. The compact design fits within the envelope of 3U and larger CubeSat platforms.
