About
The Magmeter-2 enables rapid monitoring of magnetic fields and displays filtered readings from a magnetometer’s X, Y, and Z outputs on an LCD panel. It also offers analogue outputs for each axis, allowing for display or precise data acquisition using third-party equipment. This unit is battery-powered, making it suitable for fieldwork and reducing internal noise for precision measurements. It applies low-pass filtering (9.5kHz) to all inputs to prevent the magnetometer’s excitation signal from affecting measurements. Additionally, a high-pass filter (0.1Hz) is selectable via a front panel switch for AC measurements. The Magmeter-2 is supplied with a mains AC charging adaptor for continuous operation.
