About
The Micro R³ is a modular, high-performance propulsion system designed for 10-100kg spacecraft. It leverages proven FEEP technology, scaled for small and medium spacecraft, offering enhanced protection and reliability. This system is built on the flight heritage of Enpulsion’s legacy thrusters, ensuring superior radiation protection and electric reliability for the entire mission. The Micro R³ features a dynamic thrust range of 0.5 – 1 mN, a nominal thrust of 110 W (including neutralizer), and a specific impulse of 2,700s at 1 mN. It utilizes 1.25 kg of propellant mass, delivering a total impulse of 26 kNs at 1 mN. The system has outside dimensions of 140 x 120 x 126.5 mm (excluding protrusions) and a dry/wet mass of 2.7 kg / 3.95 kg (including PPU). It operates with a hot standby power of 12 – 18 W and a total system power of 64 – 120 W at thrust range, with a supply voltage of 28 V and RS422 / RS485 command interface.
