Enpulsion’s Nano R³ propulsion system is designed to meet the unique mobility requirements of spacecraft up to 100kg. With its compact, modular, fully integrated design, the flight-proven Nano R³ includes the propellant, subsystem, and power processing unit in one compact unit under 1U — enabling maximum mobility with minimal volume. Built on a legacy of over 200 units, the Nano R³ leverages insights gained through in-orbit operation to advance our proven design with specialized components for even greater reliability. It features a dynamic ISP range of 1,500 to 4,500 s, enabling both high-thrust orbital maneuvers and low-thrust precision control. The Nano R³’s rugged casing shields onboard electronics from space radiation, simplifies integration, and enables flexible side mounting for enhanced durability and ease of use. All EEE components are procured in lot-controlled batches, with select batches radiation-tested, ensuring each thruster traces back to a fully qualified model with improved TID and SEE tolerance. Thrust is finely tuned via electrode voltages, providing exceptional control across the full thrust range and allowing operations with low thrust noise. The efficient ionization process also enables market-leading specific impulse levels. With no moving parts and solid-state indium propellant, the Nano R³ eliminates volatile materials and pressurized tanks, simplifying handling, integration, and launch procedures. Powered by Enpulsion’s innovative FEEP technology, the Nano R³ delivers precise, adjustable thrust by using a powerful electromagnetic field to ionize and accelerate liquified metal propellant. Indium propellant liquifies in orbit to generate finely tunable thrust, delivering efficient, precise maneuverability throughout the entire life of the mission.
